Aloha, it's David, I grew up in central Oahu, and went to high school five years because I didn't passed 10th grade the first time around, and was voted class clown in several different yearbooks from three schools.  Doctors diagnosed me as ADHD.  The only thing on my mind was the beach, no need school!  My work experience in the 1990's was "being let go" from three of my early jobs.

Eventually, I became a pro bodyboarder, which was my passion at the time, and was able to travel the world, including visiting every continent except Africa and Antarctica. I took my first real job teaching English in Osaka, Japan.  When I returned to Hawai'i, I grew an interest toward working with kids with autism.  Working with these youth, and then with my sister being in the Pentagon during the terrorist attacks of Sept 11, 2001, inspired my passion for psychology, human behavior, and therapy.
